I watched the movie and i absolutely loved it so i had to do a collection on it.
Before anyone goes off all 'I don't understand what this chick has drawn - what does it have do with the movie' - bear with me for a while through my messed up and confusing explanations-

Left ---> Right
Javert - member of the royal guard - based around the uniform he wears

Marius, Enjolras and the Revolution Boys - i based this off the costumes that they all had - ties, tails, waistcoat - off the song Marius sings - empty chair and empty tables - and off their whole story altogether I guess. The drawings on her legs are opaque patterned stockings. And download for a clearer version to read the cape.

Fantine & Jean Valjean - this costume is the most out there I guess - I wanted to represent the idea of how Fantine was tossed out on the streets and left to work at the prostitute house - scantiness of the inner dress - and then Jean Valjean 'saved' her in a way by rescuing her and her daughter - and Valjean was like a saint -hence all the crosses on the scarf.

Cosette - I wanted to make her look like a porcelain doll since she's all delicate and fragile and I had in mind the scene where her and Marius are singing to eachother through the gate and she was in that garden with the violets or bluebells.

Thernadier - I thought Helena bonham Carter was brilliant in the movie- and the costume design for the Thernadiers was brilliant also with the crazy patchwork and colours.

All in all it was an amazing movie - amazing costume design- amazing musical.

Great work, i adore Cosette's dress!
It looks so beautiful.
Am I possibly aloud to make a Cosplay for it? Q//Q It would be really nice to sew a dress like that.
